Q. "If I apply early for my sheep license, does it give me an advantage in the drawing?"

A. Applying early does not help you draw a license as long as your application is received sometime during the Jan. 1 - Feb. 28 application period. The advantage is that applying early gives your application more time to get here and helps insure against postal delays. Also, if something is amiss it also allows us time to notify you of the error and get it corrected before the deadline.
