New Hampshire Man Wins Vermont’s Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License Lottery WATERBURY, VT – A 74year old sportsman from New Hampshire is the lucky winner of a Vermont lifetime hunting and fishing license. The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department held its 13th annual "License of a Lifetime" lottery in which a lifetime hunting and fishing license is awarded to one person per year. Raymond R. St. Onge of Surry, New Hampshire won the license in a drawing of 674 applicants held at the December 21, 2005 meeting of the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Board in Montpelier. Participants enter the lottery by purchasing a $2.00 ticket available where Vermont hunting and fishing licenses are sold and from the Fish & Wildlife Department. Residents and nonresidents are eligible. “I really appreciate winning a Vermont lifetime license,” said St. Onge. “I am looking forward to enjoying a few days in the outdoors -- hunting and fishing with my son who lives in Newfane, Vermont.” 30 John Hall
