FRANKFORD ARSENAL CLOSED FOR SEASON

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) has closed its Frankford Arsenal Access Area in Philadelphia County for the winter season. The site will reopen in Spring 2006.

The PFBC manages some 300 state properties to provide free boat launch and/or fishing opportunities on the waters of the Commonwealth. The Frankford Arsenal Access is one of the most popular public recreational fishing and boating sites on the lower Delaware River.

The exact date the site will be reopened will be determined based on weather and site conditions next spring.
