Patoka celebrates 25 years with music, food, and fun August 20

Celebrate Patoka Lake’s 25-year anniversary as a public property on Saturday, August 20 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. EST with activities, games, special guests, refreshments and surprises.

Smokey Bear and costumed characters from Patoka’s past will join the party. The Corydon Dulcimer Society will provide music. Food vendors will be available throughout the day.

"Enjoy a look at Patoka’s past, present and future," said Maria Abel-Crecelius, interpretive naturalist at Patoka. "We suggest that visitors bring lawn chairs, family and friends, and plan to experience the wonderful features and outdoor opportunities that await at Patoka."

For this one-day special event, entrance to the property is free of charge.
