The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission recently set the final 2005-2006 furbearer quotas. 

The commision made few changes in the proposed tentative regulations. Among the changes was an increase in the otter quota in western Montana’s FWP Region 2, which was increased from 19 to 20. 

The bobcat quota was increased in northwestern Montana’s Region 1 from 200 to 250; from 225 to 300 in southwestern Montana’s Region 3; and from 600 to 700 eastern Montana’s Region 7.
