Contact: Marquita Manley Free Hornbones concert on tap for McCormick’s Creek State Park August 13 This Saturday, August 13, visitors to McCormick’s Creek State Park will tap their toes to some lively Dixieland jazz and other spirited music. The show starts at 7:00 p.m., when the Hornbones (four trombone players and a French horn player will play swing, jazz, ragtime, and polka music.at the McCormick’s Creek State Park amphitheater. "We invite our guests to bring a picnic to enjoy as they listen to the music," suggested Marquita Manley, interpretive naturalist at McCormick’s Creek. "We also recommend bringing a blanket for softer seating." The concert is free of charge, except for the regular park entry fees ($4 per vehicle; $5 per out-of-state vehicle).
