Point Lookout State
Park Swimming Area Reopened
SCOTLAND, MD — The Maryland Park Service today announced that
the swimming area at Point Lookout State Park has been reopened. The St.
Mary’s County Health Department lifted the advisory against swimming in
that area at noon today after it received good results from a water
quality resampling done on Tuesday. Routine sampling will continue
throughout the summer.
