Creature Comforts In The Great Outdoors Of Herrington Manor And New
Germany State Parks
OAKLAND —While roughing it and sleeping under the stars in a

of a cozy cabin complete with amenities like running water and
electricity. For visitors traveling to Garrett County in Western Maryland
this summer, the cabins at Herrington Manor and New Germany State Parks
offer 31 full service cabins between them. Visitors will enjoy the great
outdoors while still experiencing all the comforts of home. However if
Western Maryland isn’t in your plans, the Maryland Park Service manages
full service cabins in four other parks around the state. A complete list
is available at

their outdoor adventures,” says Nita Settina, Maryland Park Service’s
manager for resource-based recreation.
