NO LICENSE REQUIRED FISHING DAYS

National Fishing Week will take place from June 6 to June 12. June 11 and 12 are no license required recreational fishing days in Louisiana, which gives residents and non-residents two days of fishing without the otherwise necessary recreational fishing license.

The no license required fishing days during national fishing week are designed to introduce additional individuals to the sport of fishing, which in turn could result in more fishing licenses being sold in the future. Louisiana depends on the revenues from these licenses to help conserve our natural resources.
