FWC HOSTS WORKSHOP IN OCALA FOR GAME FARM RULE DEVELOPMENT

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has scheduled a public workshop to seek input for rule development pertaining to establishment and operation of game farms in Florida.

The FWC encourages all interested parties to participate in the workshop which will take place Wednesday, March 9 from 6-8 p.m., in Ocala at the Agriculture Extension Service Livestock Pavilion, 2232 NE Jacksonville Road.

Anyone requiring special accommodations to participate in the workshop should advise the agency at least five calendar days before the workshop by contacting the FWC coordinator at (850) 488-6411. Hearing- or speech-impaired persons should contact the agency by calling (850) 488-9542 to arrange assistance.
