Shelbyville—It’s teachers’ turn to be taught, as the Illinois Department of Natural Resources offers a hand-on lesson on lake ecology. Registration is still open for the "Illinois' Aquatic Resources: Lake Shelbyville" IDNR ENTICE Workshop Educators of grades four through six are invited to learn about the ecology of Lake Shelbyville in this FREE workshop from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources' ENTICE (Environment and Nature Training Institute for Conservation Education) program. The class will be held from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. on April 20, 2005. Natural resources experts will conduct the workshop in classrooms both on shore at the Lake Shelbyville Visitors' Center and in boats on the lake. “We'll take a cruise of Lake Shelbyville to search for species first-hand,” said supervisor of education Jeff Vose. “Teachers will find out about the natural web of life in the lake.” Those
