What’s Open For Hunting

Current and approaching seasons in Arkansas:

Common Snipe – November 6, 2004-February 20, 2005.

Coyote: Hunting: September 1–February 28 and from opening day of spring turkey season to June 12. Trapping: August 1–March 31.

Crow: September 4–February 25 (Thursdays through Mondays).

Furbearers: Hunting: Sunrise, September 1–sunset, February 28. Raccoon day or night hunting season: November 12 – March 31. Raccoon night hunting season: July 1–August 31.

Geese:

Snow, blue and Ross’ Conservation Order season dates:

 Feb. 7 - April 30.

Muskrat, nutria and beaver: Sunrise, November 12–sunset, March 31.

Rabbit: September 4–February 28.

Squirrel: North Zone: September 4–February 28, South Zone: October 2–February 28,

Statewide: May 14–June 12.
