Contact: Liz Androskaut Catch a glimpse of the 1880’s during the Maple Syrup Festival Mansfield, IN. – Historic Mansfield Roller Mill will be participating in the Maple Syrup Festival on February 25, 26 & 27 and March 4, 5 & 6. The mill will be open from 9am–4pm on Friday, 9 am – 5 pm on Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sunday. Visitors are encouraged to explore the mill’s three floors containing original 1880’s milling equipment. The mill is an example of the automation, mass production and mass marketing that was occurring in Indiana at the turn of the century. Be sure to stop at the gift shop, where all proceeds from the gift shop go towards the restoration and operation of the mill. Historic Mansfield Roller Mill, part of the State Park and Reservoirs Division of the DNR and managed by Raccoon State Recreation Area, is located six miles south of State Road 36, off Indiana Road 59.
