Governor Perdue to Make a Conservation Policy Announcement ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue will make a conservation policy announcement, TODAY, Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at 2:15 p.m. WHO: Governor Sonny Perdue WHAT: Conservation Policy Announcement WHEN: TUESDAY, Tuesday, January 25, 2005 2:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m. WHERE: The Chattahoochee Hill Country 10950 Hutcheson Ferry Road Palmetto, Georgia *Transportation will be provided for media planning to attend. The vehicle will leave from the guard-shack at the State Capitol at 1:15 p.m. (approximately a 45 minute drive). Directions from Atlanta: * Take I-85 South past the airport to exit #69 * Take exit #69 and follow the signs for South Fulton Parkway (there are no real turns, lanes just peel off) * Go about 13 miles to the end of this four lane highway and turn right onto Rivertown Road * Go about 2.2 miles and you will come to a 4-way stop; turn left onto Cochran Mill Road * Go 4.2 miles until Cochran Mill dead ends into Hutcheson Ferry Road * Turn right onto Hutcheson Ferry Road and go about 3 miles. You'll see a white farm house on the left-hand side with black barns and a black fence around a pecan orchard. The Serenbe sign is at the drive. Pull in drive to closed gate and you'll see a speaker box with a visiting the Chattahoochee Hill Country Office, which is located in the barn on your left as you enter the Serenbe gate (turn into first driveway on the left once you enter the property and park in lot adjacent to large black barn). * When coming from the airport, if there is a choice between I-85 and Spur 14, take Spur 14. ###
