  DLNR to hold meeting on Makua Kayaking Activity
HONOLULU— The Department of Land and Natural Resources invites the public to a community meeting to get input regarding commercial kayak activities at Makua Beach.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, at the Wai‘anae District Park Multi-Purpose Building, 85-601 Farrington Highway in Wai‘anae.

DLNR staff will discuss the current single permit for kayaking there, and seek community input before considering any further applications to expand kayaking activities at Makua.

Residents with comments or concerns are encouraged to attend.
