- The Arkansas Educational Television Network has announced winners of
its “Talkin’ Outdoors at the Corner Cafe” 2004 year-end contest.
Winners include:
·Jamie Milliken of DeWitt, who received a lifetime hunting and fishing
license from the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation in Little Rock.
·David Plank of Rogers, who received a 14-foot flat-bottom boat from
Legend Craft in Alexander and a boat trailer from Mike Cora Marine in
Little Rock.
·Janeane A. Jones of Jonesboro, who received a Hunter’s View ladder
stand from the Farmers Association in Little Rock.
·Jerry Stovall of Lepanto, who received a guided duck hunt with lodging
from the Delta Wings Duck Club in Pine Bluff.
·Scott Weaver of Trumann, who received a 4x4 concealment coat from
Natural Gear Camouflage in Little Rock.
·Steve Jenkins of Little Rock, who received Nikon binoculars from
Bedford Camera & Video in Little Rock.
·Keith Brown of North Little Rock, who received food plot mix from
Pennington Seed Company in Little Rock.
In order to be eligible for the contest, viewers submitted a postcard
with their name, address and telephone number. One winner was drawn each
week for a one-year combination hunting and fishing license. Grand-prize
winners were announced in December.
“More than 14,000 postcards were submitted during the contest period,”
AETN Executive Producer Carole Adornetto said. “With prizes totaling
approximately $6,000, we are indebted to our generous sponsors. Their
cooperation allows us to provide only the best prizes for our large
audience of outdoor enthusiasts. These supporters help us promote a love
and appreciation of Arkansas and all its natural wonders.”
“Talkin’ Outdoors at the Corner Cafe,” with host Steve “Wildman” Wilson
of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Tune in for the 2005 season, which will feature a new contest and more
great prizes. To date, prizes total more than $12,000 and include an ATV
and trailer. |
