Arkansas Big Buck Classic returns to Little Rock |
LITTLE
ROCK - The Arkansas Big Buck Classic is not only the largest hunting
show in Arkansas, it has become one of the largest in the entire South.
For the 15th straight year, the hunter extravaganza returns
to central Arkansas Jan. 21-23 at the Little Rock Expo Center.
Hundreds of vendors will be displaying and selling various hunting and
outdoor products. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be on hand
to answer questions about the proposed deer season regulations.
Subscriptions to the AGFC’s bi-monthly magazine Arkansas Wildlife
will be available for a special rate of $5 to new subscribers at the
show.
Hunters are
welcome to bring antlers to the Classic on Friday and Saturday for
scoring. Entry deadline is 5 p.m. Saturday. Categories include gun, bow,
crossbow, muzzleloader, ladies and youth in divisions of typical and
nontypical as well as an award for the largest deer from each county.
Other attractions include: The Raptor Project birds of prey exhibit and
Odie Sudbeck's Awesome Whitetails display.
Adult attendees to the Classic will be entered to win a Chevrolet
Silverado Truck from Bale Chevrolet.
The Little Rock Expo Center is on I-30 at the Alexander exit near
the Pulaski/Saline county line. Festivities begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan.
21 and continue through Sunday. Awards will be presented at 4 p.m.
