Applications Accepted for Fish Pond StockingDecember 07, 2004 Owners of new or renovated ponds may apply now to stock their ponds with
largemouth bass and bream (bluegill and shellcracker). The Fisheries Section
of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife &
Freshwater Fisheries Division will stock ponds that contain no fish and are
larger than 1/4 surface acre (1/2 surface acre if pond is not to be
