Easter Egg Hunt At Tuckahoe

Annual event set for April 10 this year
QUEEN ANNE, MD— The Maryland
Department of Natural Resources will be hosting their annual Easter Egg
Hunt at Tuckahoe State Park’s Cherry Lane Playground on Saturday April 10.
This fun-filled day will start at 11:30 a.m. with a variety of
children’s games followed by the Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. This annual event is
one of the largest in the area, with over 3,000 eggs hidden. Age groups
will be 0-3, 4-6, and 7-10.
Denton Bank and Trust and the Kent Island Safeway store are this year’s
corporate sponsors for the event. Food and drink will be available for
purchase, with revenues going towards the Tuckahoe Equestrian Center
Buckaroos.
The Ridgely Police Department and Maryland Rangers will be providing a
child safety seat checkpoint. For more info please contact the park office
