Getting to Know Native Fish

Dave Cannamela, Nature Center Superintendent and fisheries biologist will present a program on native Idaho fish March 13 at the MK Nature Center in Boise.

The program begins at 1 p.m. and costs $3 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under.

There are at least 40 native species of fish in Idaho, many of them relatively or completely unknown to the average angler or fish enthusiast. From the diminutive sculpins and dace to the charismatic and beloved trout, salmon, and steelhead, Cannamela will share his passion for things with gills.
